You heard it here first! Mark your calendars, we’re having ASNApalooza on October 20 and 21 this year in San Antonio, Texas. We’ll have, among other topics, several new sessions on AVR for .NET, some on creating mobile applications, and a few on modernizing existing RPG user interfaces, and a few other surprises. We are still planning the full session agenda, so if you have an idea for a Palooza session, please contact us (you can use the “Contact Us” feature on this Web site or send Roger Pence an email at firstname.lastname@example.org).
As always, Eduardo Ross and Roger Pence will play a big part in Palooza, but we’re also freshening things up a bit with some new speakers. ASNA’s Tim Daniels (our newest trainer with tons of AVR experience) and John Nickell (a certified Linux geek with mad Web dev skillz, as the kids say) will both bring a new dynamic to Palooza.
We’re still negotiating with hotels, but we’re pretty sure that we’ll be somewhere on the beautiful San Antonio Riverwalk. As always, besides the great session content, there will be plenty of time to network with your ASNA peers.
If you only read part of this post, read this part!
Oh, and one more minor thing: We’re waiving the fee to attend Palooza this year! We want you down here in sunny San Antonio this October and our two primary ideas to motivate you to attend were to either have Eduardo Ross and Roger Pence do their famous Chippendale dance routine wearing hardly more than a bow tie (think Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze) or to waive the fee. Luckily, for all of us, we chose to waive the fee.
You’ll be hearing from us soon about Palooza. Please mark your calendars now, it’s gonna be great!
